Eggs are an awesome food to have .There contain a good amount of protein and fats along with a host of vitamins and minerals. Eggs contain two important components

1. Yolks

People generally avoid yolks because they contain fats and cholesterol. Fat breakdown of Yolks is as follows Oleic acid(50 % ) .Remaining 50 % is saturated fat and some Mono unsaturated fat.This is an excellent fat profile  which won’t make us fat or cause heart diseases.Yolks also contain choline which is great for brain and eye health. Amino acid leucine which helps in building muscle is also present in yolks.

2. Whites

A lean protein. It also contains an anti nutrient by the name avidin. It interferes with the absorption of various B vitamins in the body.

It is great to spend some extra money on Omega 3 eggs.
